How much can I donate?

You can donate any whole amount from £1 up to a maximum of £20 per text. For example:

ARF4SMA5 = £5 donation

ARF4SMA10 = £10 donation

ARF4SMA15 = £15 donation

Once your Donation is successful  You'll receive a text thanking you for your donation and giving you details on how you can add a further 25% in Gift Aid by clicking on the link in the text.

You can also register to  make a regular monthly donation using your phone, text the word REG4ARF followed by the amount you want to donate each month to 70085 - for example to donate £5 each month text REG4ARF5 to 70085. **

To qualify for Gift Aid, you must pay an amount of UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the Annabelle Rose Foundation for Spinal Muscular Atrophy reclaims on your donations in the appropriate tax year (currently 25p for each £1 given)**. Tax year is 6 April one year to 5 April the next.

1.     You can cancel this Declaration at any time by notifying the Annabelle Rose Foundation for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

2. If your circumstances change and you no longer pay enough income or capital gains tax to cover the amount claimed by the Annabelle Rose Foundation for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, please contact us.

3. If you pay tax at the higher rate, you can claim further tax relief via your Self Assessment tax return (currently 25p for each pound you give).***

4. Please notify the Annabelle Rose Foundation for Spinal Muscular Atrophy if you change your name or address.

5. We can not claim gift aid if this was a collective donation. If you have any other reason you think we would not be able to claim gift aid. Please Contact us for further information.

** Gift Aid is linked to basic rate tax. Basic rate tax is currently 20%, which allows charities to reclaim 25 pence on the pound.

We are a very small charity based in Stansted, Essex and we do not receive any funding. All of our income is generated through fundraising and donations alone. Our staff do not receive a wage so every penny we make goes to ‘help those who need it most’. It is with continued support from people like yourself that will enable us to meet our objectives.
